In fact, according to Brain Line, an organization dedicated to preventing, treating, and living with traumatic brain injuries, “Research estimates that eighty to eighty five percent of our perception, learning, cognition and activities are mediated through vision.” With vision being our dominant sense, it’s crucial to invest in everyone’s present and future. World Sight Day has been celebrated each year in order to draw a greater focus to blindness and vision impairment. This year, World Sight Day falls on Thursday October 13th, 2016.
