Start a Monthly Newsletter

Your patients live busy lives, and improving their eyewear options isn’t always at the top of their minds. Whether a new patient arrives at your practice or an existing patient returns for their next appointment, ask if they’d like to be included in your email newsletter program.

According to a study published by broadcast email platform Benchmark Email, 49 percent of optometry and optician business owners currently participate in email marketing campaigns; and 51 percent typically use them to send informational content (as opposed to sales-focused content).

What does this tell us? Starting an opt-in email marketing campaign — sending emails once or twice a month — can be a great way to educate your patients about the value of premium lenses and keep your practice at the top of their minds.
